Reindeer Plush with Red Nose

I'm really excited to share this little guy with you. This is the first plush pattern for Happy Bobbin and you can make him in time for Christmas. The little reindeers nose has a red LED that really lights up - just like Rudolph!

The reindeer plush pattern contains detailed instructions for making the plushie and working the conductive thread. If you decided you didn't want to add in the electronic components the reindeer plush would still be a beautiful soft toy. You could give him a red pompom nose, or complete the nose in a method of your choice.

A list of the electronic components required is included with the reindeer pattern, or you can buy the reindeer kit with all the electronic bits you need - you just add fabric and a sewing needle! The kit includes conductive thread so you don't need a hot soldering iron or any prior electronics experience.

He has a little switch to turn his nose on and off in his neck seam which is hidden by his red collar. All other electronic components are hidden inside the head and neck, so if you need to replace the battery you will need to unpick the neck seam to gain access.

I had a lot of fun making this plushie design so there might be some more plush characters joining the Happy Bobbin gang soon.

Suggest an electrotextiles design and win a voucher if we make it!

There is also a great range of electronic components available to buy individually to suppliment your kit, keep as spare parts or make up your own electrotextiles kit. Find them in the Electrotextiles section of the shop.
